Date, auspicious time and worship method

Worship of Lord Shiva has special significance in Hinduism. It is believed that
Lord Shiva is a very kind and merciful God. They become happy even with just a
urn of water.

According to the Hindu calendar, in the year 2022, Mahashivratri Tithi will 
start from 3:16 am on Tuesday, March 1, and Chaturdashi Tithi will end on 
March 2, Wednesday at 10 am.

Auspicious time for worshiping Mahashivratri (Mahashivratri 2022 Shubh Muhurat)

Worship of the first Prahar of Mahashivratri- March 1, 2022 is from 6:21 pm to 
9:27 pm.
On this day the worship of the second prahar will be held from 9:27 minutes to 
12:33 minutes on 1st March.
Worship of the third prahar - March 1 is from 12:33 in the night to 3:39 in 
the morning.
Worship of Fourth Prahar - March 2 is from 3:39 am to 6:45 am in the morning.
Paran time- March 2, Wednesday after 6:45 minutes.

Maha Shivratri 2022 Puja Vidhi

Rudra means the consecration of the ghostly spirit Shiva. Shiva and Rudra 
are synonymous with each other. Shiva is called 'Rudra'. It is said, 
because rutam-duhkham, dravayati-nasayatithi rudra: that is, the innocent destroy
all sorrows.कहा जाता है, क्योंकि रुतम्-दु:खम्, द्रावयति-नाशयतीतिरुद्र: यानी कि भोले सभी 
दु:खों को नष्ट कर देते हैं

In Rudrahridayopanishad it is said about Shiva that Sarvadevatko Rudra: 
Sarve Deva: Shivatka means Rudra is present in the soul of all the gods and 
all the gods are the soul of Rudra. In our scriptures, for the fulfillment of
various wishes, many materials and worship materials have been told for the 
worship of Rudrabhishek. Sadhaks do Rudrabhishek Puja in different ways and with
different motives. For the fulfillment of a particular desire, Rudrabhishek is
done with the worship material and method accordingly.

When it is anointed with water, it rains.
To pacify incurable diseases, do Rudrabhishek with Kushodaka.
Do Rudrabhishek with curd for the building and vehicle.
To get Lakshmi, do Rudrabhishek with sugarcane juice.
Abhishek with honey and ghee for wealth growth.
Anointing with the water of the shrine leads to salvation.
Anointing with water mixed with perfume destroys the disease.
To get a son, perform Rudrabhishek with milk and if a child is born dead, 
then with honey.
Worthy and learned children are obtained from Rudrabhishek.
For the peace of fever, do Rudrabhishek with soft water/Gangajal.
While chanting the Sahasranama mantras, the lineage expands when Rudrabhishek 
is performed with the stream of ghee.
The pacification of gonorrhea is also achieved by milking.
Anointed with milk mixed with sugar, even a person with intellect becomes a 
scholar.
The enemy is defeated by anointing him with mustard oil.
If anointed with honey, tuberculosis (tuberculosis) goes away.
Do Rudrabhishek with honey even if there is a desire to destroy the bad ones.
Anointing with honey and pure ghee gives health.
The person wishing to have a son should do anointing with sugar mixed water. 
In this way, the consecration is usually done with water only.

Maha Shivratri 2022, which falls in the month of Falgun, is considered to be 
oneof the biggest Shivratri of the year. On this day, after taking a bath in 
Brahma Muhurta, establish an urn filled with water at the place of worship 
of the house.
 After this, establish the idol of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. Then offer 
Akshat, Paan, Betel nut, Roli, Molly, Sandalwood, Clove, Cardamom, Milk, Curd,
Honey, Ghee,
 Datura, Belpatra, Kamalgatta etc. to God. Perform Pooja and perform Aarti at

The goddess Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth and the consort of lord Vishnu.
The goddess Lakshmi governs all form of wealth, success, paths and all forms of
prosperity.

On special occasions or on Mondays, Pradosh and Shivratri, 
abhishek is performed by mixing mantras, milk or other milk or even

then Mahadev himself receives that abhishek. There is no such thing, splendor, 
happiness in the world, which we cannot get by doing Rudrabhishek or getting 
it done.

न यावद् उमानाथ पादारविन्दं, भजन्तीह लोके परे वा नराणाम्
न तावद् सुखं शांति सन्ताप नाशं, प्रसीद प्रभो सर्वं भूताधि वासं
न जानामि योगं जपं नैव पूजा, न तोऽहम् ; सदा सर्वदा शम्भू तुभ्यम्
जरा जन्म दुःखौघ तातप्यमानं, प्रभोपाहि आपन्नामामीश शम्भो
रूद्राष्टकं इदं प्रोक्तं विप्रेण हर्षोतये

ये पठन्ति नरा भक्तयां तेषां शंभो प्रसीदति।।
