Puja

Puja is the act of showing reverence to a god, a spirit, or another aspect of the divine through invocations, prayers, songs, and rituals. An essential part of Puja for the devotee is making a spiritual connection with the divine.

During Puja an image or other symbol of the god serves as a means of gaining access to the divine. This icon is not the deity itself; rather, it is believed to be filled with the deity’s cosmic energy. It is a focal point for honoring and communicating with the god. For the devotee, the icon’s artistic merit is important, but is secondary to its spiritual content. The objects are created as receptacles for spiritual energy that allow the devotee to experience direct communication with his or her gods.

Wherever Puja is performed it includes three important components: the seeing of the deity; Puja, or worship, which includes offering flowers, fruits, and foods; and retrieving the blessed food and consuming it. By performing these sacred acts the worshiper creates a relationship with the divine through his or her emotions and senses.
Mantras
Mantra is a syllable or string of syllables, from the Sanskrit language, first found in Hinduism. They are primarily used as spiritual conduits, words and vibrations that instill one-pointed ness in the devotee. Other purposes have included religious ceremonies for accumulating wealth, avoiding danger, or eliminating enemies. Mantras originated in India and are used in accordance with Vedic Astrology.

Vocal sounds create a frequency which have mystical powers or vibrations which affect an individual who is reciting it or for whom it is done.

The mantra words do have a mysterious power to affect us and produce benefic results and also ensure minimizing of the ill-effects of the planets.

Mantras was originally conceived in the great Hindu scriptures, known as the Vedas. Within practically all Hindu scriptures, the writing is formed in painstakingly crafted two line ‘shlokas’ and most mantras follow this pattern, although mantras are often found in single line or even single word combinations.

Aum is considered to be the most fundamental and powerful mantra, and thus is prefixed and suffixed to all Hindu prayers. While some mantras may invoke individual Gods, the fundamental mantras, like ‘Aum,’ the ‘Shanti Mantra,’ the ‘Gayatri Mantra’ and others, all focus on the One reality.
Japa

Japa was a concept of the Vedic sages that incorporates mantras as one of the main forms of worship. It is said that through japa the devotee attains one-pointed ness, or extreme focus, on the chosen deity or principle idea of the mantra. The vibrations of the japas/mantra are considered extremely important, and thus reverberations of the sound are supposed to awaken the prana or spiritual life force and even stimulate chakras according to many Hindu schools of thought.

Essentially, japa means repetition of a mantra over and over again, in cycles of auspicious numbers (in multiples of three), the most popular being 108. For this reason, Hindu malas (bead necklaces) developed, containing 108 beads and a head ‘meru’ bead. The devotee performing japa using his/her fingers counts each bead as he/she repeats the chosen mantra. Having reached 108 repetitions, if he/she wishes to continue another cycle of mantras, the devotee must turn the mala around without crossing the ‘meru’ bead and repeat.
Yantra

The YANTRA provides a focal point that is a window into the Absolute. When the mind is concentrated on a single, simple object (in this case a YANTRA), the mental chatter ceases.

A Yantra is essential in every field of life to attain success in profession, to acquire wealth, to win in court cases, to ward off diseases and to progress in meditation. By having a Yantra and keeping it in a sacred place in your house or work place, gazing it everyday can fulfill your desires and help in attaining your goals. Yantra is a suitable object for Puja, it must be given life (pranapratishta).

In the most advanced phases, it is possible to attain union with the higher spiritual Realms by the geometric visualization of a YANTRA.

Gem

Gems are rare stones which are used to provide strength to the weak auspicious planets and to strengthen the already strong planets. For different gems different metals are recommended. Each gem stone has to be worn on it’s day after the due Puja and chanting of proper mantras.

Crystals

Crystals enhance the positive energies of the body. Crystals function as transformers and amplifiers of various energies into biological energies that rebalance and re-energize our biological system on the cellular level, as well as our emotional, mental and spiritual levels. They help out in a benefic manner to combat the emotional stress and overcome the low stamina. As the present times are a very stressful and hectic, it becomes difficult for a person to compete with ever-changing aspects of life. For this, a person requires an extra energy boost to achieve above the rest.

Crystals when used in a right way help a person to overcome the difficult times. These play a vital role in accordance with the Gems and improve overall prospects of the horoscope. We can use them to tune ourselves to a higher level.

Fasting

Fasting has been known since ancient times. In fact, there are references to it in the Bible, the Koran, and ancient Chinese and Greek medical texts. Historically, people have fasted as part of religious rituals.

Fasting is abstinence from food and drink for a limited period of time to improve the benefits of planets affecting an individual. They are recommended on a specific day of the week and on that appointed day clothes are worn according to the planet for whom the fast is observed and using crystal or Rudraksha bead mantras have to be chanted to appease the planet . Fasts observed with the proper japams give ten fold effect to the person who is observing the fast.
