Description
As per Hindu mythology, Lord Ganesha (elephant faced God) is considered to be first inline among all Gods, that is why before starting any Puja or Homam or Yagna Ganpati pujan is done first. Lord Ganesha removes all obstacles. Lord Ganesha is also known as ‘Vigneshwara’ [vigna + Eswara] which means the lord who removes all obstructions (Vighna). A detailed Ganpati Puja can be ordered. A brief Puja is given here for daily recitement for the worshipers. Om Gan Ganpati Namah! – This shloka can be recited in either one mala or eight malas daily. Some of the benefits of the Ganapati Puja are obtaining peace and happiness by getting rid of malefic forces, removing troubles that prevent us from starting on a spiritual path or business, creating positive vibrations in the house, when starting new ventures such as a new job and removing obstacles if suffering from losses, when starting a new business or investments or when getting married. Performing Ganapati Homa once every year gives prosperity, health and wealth. Ganapati Homa should be performed on all auspicious occasions. If any one is having Ketu dosha or bhukti or there is some dosha of Ketu in the horoscope, he can perform the Ganapati Homa and get relief. Ganapati Homa can be done on Shukla Chathurthi day of Bhadrapad i.e. the birth day of Lord Ganesha.
